You won't have any copywriting included on your site nor any images uploaded into your template. Search Engine Optimization is also your responsibility, but I can refer you to my strategist if you'd like for her to optimize your images, page titles, and meta descriptions before you get started ($500ish).
Template prep is $750 and treated like a VIP Day with the majority of the work being done within one calendar day. If your template is considerably more complicated or your business needs more than the average attention because of a more extensive offer suite, then your quote may be higher (you'll know before you book!) There are times when prep may take a little longer on my end and you won't be charged for any additional days!
No, I'll help you to choose the best template for your brand and business if you haven't starting the hunt for your favorite template. I also have a page of trusted template designers with discount codes here! If you already have your template ready to go, then this step can be skipped and we can get right to customizing it for your brand and business. Some clients would rather me choose the perfect template and add it on to your total investment. Templates range from $200 to $1200, so I'll consider your budget, too.
After the template is prepped and you're ready to take over, I'll connect your current or new domain to your Showit account and put a Coming Soon page as your home page so that you can continue to edit your website in the background. Your coming soon page will include a contact form so clients can reach out for more details.
All of my clients switch to Showit from places like Squarespace, Wix, and Wordpress. What's magical about Showit is that it's a fully customizable design platform, but still uses the power of Wordpress for blogging. You can transfer over any blog posts you have on other platforms, too! If Showit isn't a good fit for your industry or needs, I'll be the first to tell you before we ever book your prep.
